We have so much to share with you.

The biggest news first. A Beautiful Calling LLC is opening our very own retail storefront in downtown Eagle River, WI this June. This has been on our hearts since the moment we launched this business in 2024, and it fell into place in a way only the Lord can do. Seeing it come to life feels both surreal, incredibly exciting, and honestly a little nerve-wracking. It is a big leap going from a home-based business to rooting ourselves in a local downtown community, and we want to open in the best way possible. This space will allow us to rapidly increase our impact for good and expand the way we support our global artisan partners. We don't want to be just another retail store, but a space where people come for community.

We will be getting into the space on June 1st, and in order to get the shop operational as quickly as possible, we've launched a crowdfunding opportunity through a zero-interest loan program called Kiva, a nonprofit crowdfunding platform that allows people to support small businesses through zero-interest loans that are repaid over time. This gives our supporters a chance to invest in our business and help us cover the upfront capital needed for things like a POS system, security system and cameras, fixtures and displays, minor modifications to the space, and increasing our inventory to fully stock the shop.

We were approved for a $10,000 loan, and within 9 days of our campaign, we were fully funded! Thank you to everyone who rallied behind us!

To celebrate our opening, we are hosting a Grand Opening on June 20–21, and you are absolutely invited. We are especially excited, and a little curious, to see who might be traveling the farthest to join us, so if you are making a trip out of it, be sure to tell us when you stop in. There will be live music on Saturday from noon to 2pm, along with door prize opportunities for those who attend in person throughout the weekend.

We truly would not be here without your encouragement, your purchases, and your belief in what we do. This next chapter feels especially special because of that.

For our local community...

We will be part of a Mother’s Day Market at The Hilgermann in downtown Rhinelander on May 2nd from 10am to 2pm. It is the perfect chance to shop for Mom, shop with Mom, or get out with your friends while choosing to support local small businesses and the people behind them. We hope you will stop by and say hello. Kids are welcome to attend the event.
