Expertly handcrafted by skilled Mayan artisans in the highlands of Guatemala, each footbag is a unique work of art. Made from upcycled, high-quality woven cotton patches, these footbags feature an incredibly durable, tight-knit construction designed to withstand hours of intense play. Unlike traditional sand-filled options that can leak over time, our footbags are filled with premium plastic beads. This gives them the perfect weight, a satisfying pop upon contact, and makes them entirely washable and weather-resistant—a massive selling point for your retail customers.
100% Fair Trade & Ethical: Every purchase directly supports indigenous artisans, providing sustainable wages and community development in Guatemala.
Upcycled Patchwork Design: No two footbags are exactly alike! The eclectic mix of vibrant colors and traditional geometric patterns makes them highly collectible.
Premium Plastic Bead Filling: Offers the ideal pop, stall, and weight for everyone from beginners to seasoned footbag enthusiasts. Won't leak or degrade if they get wet.
Ultra-Durable Construction: Tightly hand-stitched to ensure seams stay intact through kicks, stalls, and drops.
Measures: Approximately 2.5" diameter
Every purchase supports artisan communities in Guatemala and helps preserve traditional craftsmanship while creating sustainable economic opportunities. Enjoy active fun while making a positive impact.

Lucia's World Emporium was founded in 2007. They are a Fair Trade boutique and gift store dedicated to bringing you the highest quality apparel, accessories, home decor, and gifts from around the world. Every product at Lucia's is carefully selected keeping your values in mind. As a member of the Fair Trade Federation we strive to create positive social, economic, and environmental change everyday. We source our products from small farmers and artisans in holistic partnerships built on trust. By committing to these principles, we believe we can make a difference in the world one purchase at a time, while bringing awareness to the beauty of artisan made goods.
Guatemala is a country overrun with political corruption, inequality, and instability. In order to make ends meet, many young women are forced to work in foreign-owned sweatshops called maquilas where they are given very few rights and are paid much less than a living wage. The government supports these businesses despite the setbacks that it causes their people and economy. That’s where Lucia’s steps in. We provide the opportunity for artisans to work fair hours under safe and enjoyable conditions, and we pay fair wages for the skilled labor that artisans provide. We support involvement in design of products and input from traditional Guatemalan culture. These simple steps make a huge difference. One of our artisans became the first person in her village to attend college, bringing back knowledge and skills that can help her community grow. Fair Trade allows people the opportunity to make a difference for their community and their country.
