This basket is handmade from date palm leaves and straw in the village of Konejpur, Bangladesh. This craft has a long tradition, and our artisans are involved in all steps of the process, from harvesting the fibers to washing, drying, and weaving the final product. Working for Others allows our artisans to provide for their families, improve their living conditions, and put their children through school.
