A stroopwafel is a Dutch cinnamon waffle cookie with homemade caramel syrup hand spread inside, best enjoyed warmed over your favorite hot beverage. The heart of the Stroopie Co is to provide top quality products while empowering and providing meaningful employment to refugees resettling in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This elegant collector’s tin provides airtight storage for the Stroopies it contains. The Chocolate Dipped and Specialty Tins have 10 Stroopies in a sleeve. The Traditional Tins have 12 Stroopies in a sleeve.

GLUTEN FREE STROOPIES Gluten Free Stroopies are made with thoroughly cleaned equipment in a thoroughly cleaned kitchen. Though we do our very best to prevent it, there is a chance of cross contamination. We are not a certified gluten free kitchen.

Stroopies, Inc. was established in 2008 to provide meaningful employment to resettled refugee women starting their lives over in Lancaster, PA. 

At the Lancaster Sweet Shoppe, our hope is to bring our values of faith and family together for an amazing experience for everyone who comes out for a treat. We keep our shop family-centered by featuring sweets that will make you smile, no matter how old you are!

Jonathan and Jennie Groff own the Lancaser Sweet Shoppe and are also part-owners of  Stroopies, Inc. which operates out of the Lancaster Sweet Shoppe. Their favorite part of Stroopies, Inc. is the opportunity to welcome resettled refugee women who are learning English to make the delicious cinnamon waffle cookies, best designed to rewarm on your favorite hot beverage or of course to be enjoyed with our very own Lancaster Sweet Shoppe ice cream.
